How can I eliminate My X husband from View My relationship

When I look at View My Relationship, I often see that I am related to someone through my X husband. I believe if I could by-pass him, the computer may show that I am related to that person through my parents but it would be a little farther back.

Thank you,

Brenda Shultz Dickey

FamilySearch always tries to show you the shortest path between you and another person in the tree. But of course many two persons are related by more than one path.

For those other paths, RelativeFinder.org is the tool to use. It is a FamilySearch partner website, so you log in there using your FamilySearch login and password.
