Difficulty in using new format for 1950 census
I have indexed or reviewed 40,000 records in at least a dozen different censuses. The 1950 format is totally a disconnect for experienced indexers and reviewers. The idea to involve more people may be noble, but the 10,000 who did most of the 1940 must be considered.
I expected to see the image and the table format and just edit as I would any register type data. Why was a new method created? Why didn't you ask me for my ideas?
There are no tutorials for beginners or experts that give useful help and the format is not in any way intuitional nor has self explanatory procedures.
I am putting concerns here because there is no other place for feedback any more. Just the Black Hole of Community Help. I realize there is someone reading this, that may fix problems. But help is not really available since there is too many entries and there is not a link to the project you are working on on the header of the page. Besides you will exit your indexing to get answers.
So please put the system back to the standard Family Search Indexing model and make me happy and de-confuse a lot of people.

Thank you for your comments. Here are some links that may help you. There is a lot to work through. Since this is computerized or automated indexing and we are just review, it is not like the typical indexing and review with other projects. This computerized system was developed by Ancestry.com. It is hoped that it will speed up the time in which records can be brought online. We sure appreciate your insight also.
