My wife, Jo-ann Tremelling KWDS-6N6, shows in Temple ordinances, "Effective Ordinances"-Needs More Information.

"Sealing to Spouse Cannot Request -Not Available"

"This person's ordinance status is not available. Please contact FamilySearchSupport if you are a relative and need more information".

Jo-ann and I were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple on August 15, 1980. Why is her sealing ordinance not recorded? What additional information is required.

@Ray Turpin Ordinances won't show if one of the parties is still living. Since you are living, the ordinance doesn't show up. I verified that the ordinance was recorded so you don't need to worry. Sam 😊

Here are some "Knowledge Articles", in 'FamilySearch':

Sealing to Spouse ordinance listed as "Not Available" in Family Tree

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/sealing-to-spouse-ordinance-listed-as-not-available-in-family-tree

Where, it states among other things:

    Quote

    ------------------

If a couple’s sealing-to-spouse ordinance is listed as "Not Available," it means one of these things:

    • One of the spouses is still living.

    ------------------

    And ...

In Family Tree, what does "Not available" mean?

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/in-family-tree-what-does-not-available-mean

Where, it states among other things:

    Quote

    ------------------

The ordinance status "Not Available" means that the ordinance information for the person is unavailable to view.

"Not Available" can appear for many reasons.

    • One of the parties in a sealing is still living.

    ------------------

    And ...

Why are ordinances "Not Available" for living people?

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/why-are-ordinances-not-available-for-living-people

Where, it states among other things:

    Quote

    ------------------

Ordinances of living people are listed as "Not Available" in Family Tree for privacy reasons.

I hope, that these may help/assist, somewhat.
