Re: Request no FSS110-291307

I requested the reservation of my aunt's Temple work and received an email telling me that it was now in my reservations, but I still cannot request it. There is written permission from her in the document section of her memories. Deidre Daphne May Russell (LF7R-HLN)

I would appreciate your assistance in this matter

Thank you

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]

( In fact, it's 'Brett' ... I used to be, in your Ward ... )

    Just in passing ...

    Unfortunately ...

Please be. aware; and, advised, that ...

"Permission", that WAS granted, by a "Deceased" individual/person; BEFORE, their "Death", DOES NOT qualify.

Here is a "Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch':

Do I need permission from the closest living relative to do temple ordinances?

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/do-i-need-permission-from-the-closest-living-relative-to-do-temple-ordinances

Where, it states among other things:

    Quote

    ------------------

    • Permission granted by a deceased person before death does not qualify. Permission must come from a close living relative.

    ------------------

    Good Luck.

I know, that this certainly does not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective.

    It's 'Brett'.

I have just been, in direct contact, with 'Judy'.

Can you please get this post, of hers, "Moved", to the 'Category' of "Temple".

And, possibly the post, taken into the workings, of 'FamilySearch' "Support", to help/assist her.

    'Thank You', in advance.

    Brett
