Reviewing Problem-Unable to Finish Page

To whom it may concern,

While reviewing families in the 1950 Census, I encountered a page in which the system would not let me review the last household on the page. I have attached a screenshot. The last two people shown (Matthew and Ella May, surname partially obscured) have not been reviewed. The system gave me no option to return to the page or add a household while I was there.

Can an option please be created to allow the reviewer to indicate whether the page is finished or not, and add household(s) if necessary?

(Frustration: No, I DON'T want to move to another page or do another "Allen" family right now!!!)

I was reviewing a list of names in Virginia (matching and editing) and then the highlighted area skipped a whole group of household names on the middle of the list. It skipped down to the the last name from where I started working and then stated the page was complete. What caused this. There was a whole group of households that were not "highlighted" so they could be reviewed.

Anytime I encounter an issue with the page I'm reviewing, I flag it by clicking on "Transcription Error", and selecting "other" and add a comment as to what the issue is.

For instance, I'm reviewing a family, line by line, and there is a Surname listed for an individual, but I'm not prompted for a Surname, just the given name. When you are at the given name click on "ranscription Error, other and type in "Was not prompted for Surname" and then Submit. Wait a few seconds for the system to enter the error, and you will see a pop-up where an issue has been reported. Then you can continue with the rest of the review.

Note: If you don't wait for the system pop-up, the issue will be placed on the wrong line.

We should be able to add a missing surname. Why can't there be a link for us to do that?

@Teri Luna as far as not being able to add the missing surname, it will be picked up in the next review process, we nothing will be missed. Thank you.
