We are wondering if the long numbers have fixed to the names of the personnel on this roster are service numbers or not. Could someone look it up and tell me? Thank you.

@George T. Emerson it looks like that batch has military service numbers. The first one I can see is: R-125350
Some of the numbers do not have the letter "R" in front.
Also, if you click on the purple arrow next to the Enlistment Year field, it says you can use the roster date if there are no enlistment dates. The roster date is Sep 30 1938

Please take a look at the Field Help for Military Service Number. There is an example there and the number should be indexed. The Field Help also says to include any punctuation marks that are recorded with the service number. For example - on the first entry under Sergeants, William Peck, the Service Number should be indexed as R-762279.
