Do ordinances shared with family group expire and return to the sharer if not requested

Ordinances shared with family group show up as green/"request" option. A member of the group can then open the individual's name/ordinances and request that ordinance. It will then rest in their temple reservation list.

My question is that when you share an ordinance by emailing it to someone, they have 2 weeks (I think) to accept that ordinance, or it reverts to the sharer. Once they accept it, it disappears from the sharer's reservation list.

Is there a time limit with family groups to "request" shared ordinances? or they revert to the family member who shared them?

    FYI

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]

    Just in passing ...

Here are some "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':

How do I reserve or print ordinances that have been shared with a family group?

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/reserve-or-print-ordinances-shared-with-a-family-group

    And ...

    Shared family group reservations

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/shared-family-group-reservations

    Where ...

It states, in BOTH, among other things:

    Quote

    ------------------

    • The person who reserves the ordinance and shares it with the group has 2 years to complete the ordinances.
    • The person who reserves the ordinance from the group has 90 days to print the card.

    ------------------

    Plus ...

In another "Knowledge Article:, in 'FamilySearch':

    What are family groups?

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/what-are-family-groups

Where, It states, among other things:

    ------------------

What happens when I click Reserve for later?

Any records you select move to your My Reservations list.

What happens with I click Print?

Print allows you to print cards for the temple on your home printer.

    ------------------

I hope, that these may help/assist, somewhat.
