Wish list- The photo for a portrait is often not small enough to fit the circle and the magnification slider has reached the max reduced size. In Ancestry.com there are options to DRAG and RESIZE image and also an option to select full photo and then Ancestry resizes it to fit the circle. Thanks

This has come up in the past and I fiddled around some to see how this resizing functions. You can read my conclusion here: https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/comment/426097#Comment_426097

    @Gordon Collett

    Gordon

    It's 'Brett'.

    Just in passing ...

I am well aware, of the 'Post', in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, to which you refer ...

    [ As, I was a Participant, in such ... ]

    But ...

    That Said ...

There are NOW, Two (x2) places/areas; where, the "Portrait", is applicable:

    [ 1 ]

The "Portrait", on the "Person/Details" page/screen, of an individual/person (including: Oneself)

    image.png

    and/or, NOW ...

    [ 2 ]

The "Portrait", under the (NEW) "Profile" 'Tab', in one's "Settings", of one's 'FamilySearch' Account

    image.png

    And ...

They DO operate ... DIFFERENTLY ...

In fact, there there does appear to be, some problems/issues, with BOTH of them ...

As, I also, recently, noticed problems/issues, with getting the "Portrait(s)" ... "Right" ... in BOTH

And, I never had any problem/issue, with the FIRST / ORIGINAL one, BEFORE ...

I too, did considerable, 'Fiddling' (including: Different Programmes; and, resizing) ...

But, I just could not, get them ... 'just right' ... certainly NOT what I wanted

    Perhaps ...

There HAS been, some (ie. behind the scenes) "Change", to the way, such work.

I am not saying, that there is, just that there may have been.

    Just my thoughts.

    Brett
