Large amount of errors in the finished product. I found an entire page that is "finished and searchable" and it's not indexed. Vacant houses indexed as people, surnames that are incorrect and the usual edit process is not saving the edits. I have to go page by page to find family members due to the amount of indexing errors.

How do you correct a surname in a census record? I happen to know that the surname is wrong and would like to correct it so others will be able to find it.

I waited 12 years for absolutely nothing, if the census wasn’t so expensive I would suggest that it be scrapped! At the very least each street should have been named on every page, format awful, one word describes the 1950 census “Disappoints “. 1940 was a pleasure and all the previous census ones going back to 1880.

I've found a problem with the 1950 census showing the marital status on a lot of name indexed as "widowed" where the original census image show married (mar). I found this problem exists on almost every image I've looked at. (Census records in California, Pennsylvania, New York, and more.)

Is there any way for us to correct that marital status for members of our own family members? Or does the marital not matter. It's just confusing when I have known relatives and this census is indexed as widowed but I know they were not in 1950.
