My brother passed away about 17 months ago. I am trying to do his temple work but it wants me to do baptism and conformation. He was already baptized and confirmed. I have dates from his membership record but am unable to add that information. How do I go about getting that added?

If you are talking about the person with PID: LVLG-5VQ, you were the person who added all of the details. Your brother will have a PID of his own and you will need to merge to two entries to transfer the ordinances over and make the entry complete.

    FYI

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]

    Just in passing ...

    As, I am "Related" ...

If, your Brother, was a Member of the Church; as, you have his "Membership" Number, in the Church; THEN, you may need, to get in contact, with the "Clerk", of the particular Ward/Branch; where, his "Membership" Record was (last) located, to ensure, that his "Membership" Record, has been marked; as, "Deceased".

Once, his "Membership" Record, in the Church, has been marked; as, "Deceased"; then, his 'FamilySearch Person Identifier' (PID), in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch, that was created from his "Membership" Record, WILL be visible to ALL.

When, that is done, then you can "Merge"/"Combine", your version of your Brother (that you created), with the version, of your Brother, created from his "Membership" Record in the Church, so that, the version, of your Brother, created from his "Membership" Record in the Church, can be the "Surviving" (Record) individual/person; as, the latter will most likely have the, "B"; and, "C", already appearing; as, "Completed".

    Whereas ...

If, your Brother, was NO LONGER, a Member of the Church, for whatever reason, that is another matter.

I hope, that this may also help/assist, somewhat.

Thank you. My brother was not active for the majority of his life. So I didn't know where his records were. I had the Bishop pull his record over to our Ward so I could get his baptism and conformation date. The Bishop will have his membership clerk record his death information and hopefully that will trigger the duplication record so I can merge them and get the dates to populate and allow me to get his work done. Thank you both for your help.
