What do you do when families are skipped in the family review?
[11:08 AM] Robert W Andersen
The page I just reviewed had more families on it to review when it thought it was done, so those families didn't get reviewed. The problem may have been due to the fact that it skipped over some families, so I unchecked the family it was on and selected the family that was skipped and reviewed it. This happened multiple times on the page. When the program skips families does it mean that these families were previously reviewed by someone else? This is a concern I have about the ability to search for and review specific surnames. How can the person reviewing the rest of the records on the page tell that a family has already been reviewed? We need to have more instruction on how the program works.

Robert, each “not home” lists the page number where the family was included in the call backs. They are in the same ED but begin with page 71, as listed in the upper right corner of the page.
If you are transcribing you don’t need to do anything. Those pages will come up on a section that someone else will transcribe.
If you are looking for your ancestor, then just move forward to that page number as listed.

Also, if you are indexing “family groups” and the curser jumps over a family group, it’s because someone else already grouped that family.
