Family History Consultants are supposed to be encouraging and supporting all Indexing projects. Right now we don't have any idea who is doing indexing on the 1950 Census or how much is being done in our unit. The unit Family History Consultants, Quorum Presidencies and other Ward Leaders have no way to know what is going on in their units and thus no way to know what should be done to encourage and support Indexing. A report on 1950 Census Indexing similar to the one we can generate on general Indexing would be very helpful in trying to fulfill our callings with regard to Indexing.
