Problems between Website and Android Phone to retrieve names for temple
I have reserved and printed name ordinance cards for temple ordinances and distributed them to family members. Most of these are "temple file" which were released back to the temple which I was able to reserve for 90 days. On the website they are shown as PRINTED Names which I can apply filters to.
Android App does not have exclusion criteria to prevent names from being re-selected when I show up at the Temple and desire to perform ordinances for ancestors which were NOT previously printed. The Android app mixes Previously printed and non-printed names together without any notation of being previously printed. NOTATION previously printed should be added AND Filter criteria on APP should be provided similar to website to prevent names from being presented for selection IF the USER who "owns" the reservation desires.
This way a name could be reprinted at the temple on purpose OR a previously UNPRINTED name can be printed at the temple spontaneously as needed. This is particularly helpful to reprint subsequent ordinance name cards OR print new ones that were not previously marked as printed and distributed to family members in distant locations.
Reserving names this way is troubling and limiting. It would be more helpful to allow "temple file names" to be placed in a Group similar to "2-year reservation names". Then family members from different temples can cooperatively and successively work on specific ordinances on the same day in different time zones or successive days without problems in reprinting names either by the reservation owner or at the temple. It could be done easily at each temple with the barcode.
Currently only the reservation owner and the temple can reprint "90 day" name card reservations. Not Patron Friendly.
These adjustments would then follow a single process which avoids confusion.
Eventually only a single ordinance would need to be shown TO BE DONE with the name dates and barcode. Successive ordinances could be spontaneously printed when needed at home or temple rather than a massive complicated manual process, by the reservation owner.
