Missing Deceased family baptism
I was wondering why I cannot locate my family members that were baptized for the dead and
sealed on the Temple icon. It has been a long time since they were baptised like in March 27, 1996. #39040

Can anyone help? Also, it has been a long time since I have done any more baptisms and was wondering what things do I need to have baptism for the dead and sealed to parents?

Hello @debbblank
RE: the second part of your query.
The following information is required before you can request the ordinances of an individual . . .
You need a name, the sex (male or female), know that the person is deceased - a death date is good but if you haven't got one then the life status must be marked deceased, AND a standardized date and place for a birth, christening, marriage, death or burial. You only need the information for one event. The date must have at least the year. The place must have at least the country.
To have a child sealed to parents you also need the name and sex of each parent, and indicate that the parents are deceased.
This knowledge explains in more detail what is required -https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/what-information-is-required-to-do-temple-ordinances-for-my-ancestors
You will need to be signed in, or sign into FamilySearch to see the article.
These days, you need to add the information for each individual into FamilySearch and request the ordinances through the FamilySearch program.
If an individual was born within the last 110 years, the program will require you to have your relationship to the person shown in the Tree (the individual is connected to your relatives in some way) and you will need the permission of a close relative of the individual. A close relative is defined as a spouse, child, parent or brother or sister.

I hope you find this information useful.
kind regards

Hello @debbblank
RE: the first part of your query. Locating your family members whose ordinances have already been completed.
Records for these individuals should be in the Family Tree part of FamilySearch.
Another place to look is in the Ancestral File which you can get to via the Search tab (right up the top) then choose Genealogies.
