The Find page needs to default to Find by ID

Find by ID will take you directly to the record page you are looking for whereas you may bring up thousands of Mary Smiths. It is the most often used and used to be the default before you created this lovely page with the green banner. At the very least, if you used find by ID last time, it should bring that up next time you click on Find.
