Baptism of relatives?

Hi,

First post here.

I checked the documentation on the main website and couldn't wrap my head around the lingo, but is it true that FamilySearch/the Temple will baptise your relatives without asking? Or does a living relative need to give express permission?

Thank you in advance.

@saadfad , "FamilySearch" does not do any temple work itself. Individuals can reserve temple work for their own relatives. If the deceased relative was born within the last 110 years the person reserving the ordinance, in addition to being related, would need the permission of a living parent, spouse, adult child or sibling of the deceased.

Also can a Mod please move this post to the Temple Category? Thank you.
