Ordinances Completed For My Grandfather

I was the closest living relative of my grandfather Edgar Rauch L8WG-W8H and the only member in the church. Why were his ordinances completed and not by his first living relative? I am wondering how this could happen. Please advise.

Thank you,

Teri Merrell

Thank you for your question in the Community about the completed ordinances for your grandfather, Edgar Rauch L8WG-W8H. The ordinances for Edgar Constance Rauch L8WG-W8H were done in 2010 and 2012. The 110- Rule has been in effect for many years, however, it was not until 2014 that FamilySearch set up the current process to enforce an existing policy. You may want to review the following article link for more information about the policy.

We hope this information clarifies the issue.
