I have a friend who printed temple cards for sealing to parents and spouses in 2016. Life got busy then covid hit and now someone unknown has reserved the names and shared them with the temple in 2019, can my friend get these name back. The temple cards are still printed in 2016 and the work hasn't been done. A couple of names were reserved in 2020 by an unknown person, these names expire in 2024. What can be done by my friend to do this work? MEK

If a name has been shared with the temple, your friend can reserve it. Here is a knowledge article giving information about that process. It is titled: Can I reserve an ordinance that has been shared with the temple?

Regarding the names reserved in 2020, it is recommended that you contact that person and ask if they will release the name so you can reserve it.

Here is an article with information about contacting someone who has reserved an ordinance you would like to do.

    We hope this helps.
