email to indexers

I think FamilySearch has the email addresses of at least most of us who index. So when you make a change to the program, why not send us a notification that a change is being made? Several weeks ago, I opened up the program, only to find Indexing was not listed in the Tool Bar or whatever that thing across the top is called. I thought, "Is something wrong with my program, computer, whatever?" So I played around with it for several minutes and then finally clicked on "Get Involved"--whoa, there is indexing! Time and time again, you folks make changes, but don't forewarn us. It is very frustrating to experienced users, and drives new users away--as in, "I am not going to learn FamilySearch; it is too hard, and they always change the program anyway." I hear that refrain all the time. I love FamilySearch, and I love doing family history, temple names, indexing, etc. But getting no advanced warning on changes is very irritating. Thank you. Sincerely, Holly Bell
