UK, England, Gloucestershire—Nonconformist Church Records, 1642–1996 [Part C]
The first record has the date of baptism on April 31, 1700. However, there isn't 31 days in April nor were there 31 days in April for the Julian Calendar. The first thing I think to do, and would feel comfortable doing, is looking at this date as April 30, 1700 and converting it to the Gregorian Calendar based on April 30 and not 31st. So indexing it as May 11, 1700.
It's the baptism date, so I guess it doesn't HAVE to be exact to the day.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

We will type what we see and let the researcher determine the correct date.

I believe you are correct. I am sorry for the misunderstanding. As per the Project instructions I would convert the date to Gregorian calendar equivalents and make it May 10, 1700.

I am a bit confused. So, I need to convert this date to Gregorian date based on April 31, so it would then be May 10, 1700. Or do you mean I do not convert Julian dates to Gregorian dates? I would keep it April 31, 1700.
Just to be clear, the only reason I am converting dates is because the project instructions tell us to

So I assumed any date prior to 1752 would need to be converted. Just wanted to be certain I am understanding your response. Thank you.
