The "Join my Family Group" Invitation to join needs to use the words "temple ordinances"

The current invitation message advertizes the group as another social media communication app. I have sent the default message to Ward members who did not join and they say they have no need to "collaborate and participate in group messages."

When I tell them they can share in a ward sponcered temple ordinance pool, they join.

    @Rex Wayne Shumway

    Rex

    It's 'Brett'.

I totally understand, where you are coming from ...

And, I agree, the "INVITE", should indicate, that such ALSO includes, the "Sharing" of "Temple" Work ...

    But ...

    That Said ...

Please be aware; and, advised ...

That the "Family Groups" ARE (and, apparently, WILL be) MORE, than just for "Sharing" the "Temple" Work.

    'Yes' ...

For Users/Patrons who are Members of the Church, the "Family Groups", are primarily a way, to "Share" the "Temple" Work with, immediate and extended Family members; as well as, Ward/Branch/Stake members, in the non-literal "Family Group".

    But ...

    That Said ...

"Family Groups", are ALSO, a "Group" 'Messaging' Tool.

[ ie. Where, Family members working on the same "Ancestral" Lines can communicate & work; as, a 'Team' ... ]

    Plus ...

There may be OTHER "Uses" of the "Family Groups", in the future ...

There has been 'Talk', in this Forum, that has suggested, that "Family Groups" MAY later, include a 'Component', to enable the "Sharing", of the "Living" individuals/persons, in our "Private Spaces", between members of the particular 'Group'; as, a "Family Group" is, in fact, a "Closed" PRIVATE 'Group', with somewhat of a 'Modicum', of "Privacy".

But, ONLY 'Time' will tell ...

We can but live in hope ...

    Just my thoughts.

    Brett
