Batch Expiry Changes?

I have been working on a project for several months (reviewing Missouri marriage records). These batches have, previous to this week, been 'checked out' to me for 7 days. All of a sudden, this week, I noticed that the expiry date is now only 4 days from the time of check out.

Is this standard across all projects, or only specific to certain ones? And, does anyone know why they shortened our time to index/review?

It may just depend on the project? But I see this is new for your project. I checked out a batch last night and it’s saying it isn’t due for 7 days.

Thanks for your question @Kate Rees Evans.

Occasionally, projects may have shorter deadlines, which usually occur as a larger project nears completion.

There are two Missouri marriage projects available right now. If you are indexing the US, Missouri—County Marriages, 1806–1969 [Part Q] project, it is 92% indexed and 88% reviewed, so it is nearing completion.

I'm reviewing records in Part L, which is 99% completed for both indexing and review, so that makes total sense that the 'turn around time' is now less than usual. It was just something I was not expecting, and unfortunately, made me 'lose' a batch earlier when it returned before I thought it would.
