Another question - cannot find a title to these records as it obviously occurs before the pagees that are available to view.

It seems these are burials. It seems it is a list. The question is:

Entry: "1851 July 6. Elizth Griffiths, Sandy Lane, Clayton. Still born. 1"

Reviewer asks should this be indexed. It appears that the mother did not die (as research shows there is no death entry for her) but there was a still born child - no entry in the Free BMD register. Many still born children in this batch.

[We had the most wonderful Stake FH & Temple Consultant - Indexing, but she sadly passed away very recently and we miss her so! Would be grateful for guidance.]

Thank you. Sincerely

Marilyn Lockyer

I found this in the project instructions:

    • If a record does not include a name for the primary person, you should still index the record, marking the primary name fields blank and indexing other names, such as names of the parents, along with any other fields that are present on the record.

This should still be indexed in my opinion. You have dates, and mother's name. Primary name for the stillborn child should be marked <blank> and all of the other info needs to be indexed, mother's name and burial date.

The researcher can find this record based off the mother's name, and see she buried a stillborn child.
