There is a whole limb on my tree that is not part of my family. I have tried to delete, but can't due to "delete option is not available".

I am very frustrated. Someone HELP me please

Can you remove the Parent-Child Relationship for the incorrect person(s)?

There is an icon to right of the child (notepad/pencil) under Family Members section of the parent's Details tab which allows you to Edit/Remove incorrect Parent-Child Relationships.

If you want to supply the Person ID for the incorrect parent(s)/child(ren) - someone here can direct you further if needed.

    Shirley

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

Further to; and, in support of, what 'genthusiast' has already preferred ...

    'Yes' ...

It certainly can be 'frustrating' ...

The "System" takes some time to get used to ...

We have all been there ...

    Now ...

    That Said ...

    We DO NOT "Delete".

We "Remove" (or, "Change") the "Relationships", instead.

    Depending on the situation/circumstance ...

Here are a couple of "Knowledge Articles", in 'FamilySearch':

    [ COUPLE Relationship ... ]

A person in Family Tree has the wrong spouse

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/a-person-in-family-tree-has-the-wrong-spouse

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/a-person-in-family-tree-has-the-wrong-spouse

    [ PARENT-CHILD Relationship ... ]

How do I correct parent-child relationships in Family Tree?

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-correct-parent-child-relationships-in-family-tree

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-correct-parent-child-relationships-in-family-tree

Depending on the situation/circumstance, give the "Steps", in the appropriate "Knowledge Article", a go.

    Good Luck.

I hope, that these may may help/assist, somewhat.
