How do I clear names from the search windows?

Over time names have been entered into the search window that I would like to remove.

Just in passing ...

In regard to 'FamilySearch' ...

I principally use, the "Browser" of 'Google' "Chrome", with the "Operating System" of 'Microsoft' "Windows 10"

But ...

That Said ..

I also often use the "Browser" of 'Mozilla' "FireFox'.

I have NOT noticed, the problem/issue, that you describe, in "Chrome".

Whereas ...

I HAVE noticed, the problem/issue, that you describe, in "FireFox".

Although, I have not been bothered by such ...

I believe, there is a "Setting", in the "Settings" of "FireFox"; where, you can "Set", to have that, NOT happen.

Just my though.
