Missing Ordinances
Sharon Louise Scarborough GDSB-XMS is the spouse of my first cousin Gordon Kent Rasmussen KWDR-8WF. They both died within a few days of each other in September 2021. Gordon's record shows his ordinances, however, we have not seen Sharon's record with her ordinances. The record, GDSB-XMS, was created in November 2021 after she died and we have not seen any other deceased record. I have added her obituary to this record to show her birth and death dates and marriage date. The obituary is also linked to her and Gordon's headstone that shows their birth and death dates. Can her record be reviewed and amended to include her ordinances?

Thank you for your question in the Community about Sharon Louise Scarborough's ordinances. She has not yet been deceased for a year and a day. Her completed ordinances will not show until then, and incomplete ordinances will not be available until then. We are enclosing the Help Ceenter article explaining the process.
If a person has not been deceased for a year and a day, Family Tree shows the ordinance status of "Not Ready." Family Tree does not allow you to reserve ordinances for a person until one year and one day after the date of death. The calculation is based on Greenwich Mean Time, not local time zones.
You cannot reserve the ordinances until the waiting period is complete. If this ordinance status displays in error, it usually means that Family Tree lacks the correct death date.
Steps
- In Family Tree, check the person's death date. Add or correct it if needed.
- If possible, include the exact death date (day, month, and year).
- If you do not know the exact death date, but you do know the person died over a year ago, set the death date to either "about [month and year, one year prior to the current month and year]" or "about [one year and one day before the current date]." Caution: If you enter the death date as "before [one year and one day before the current date]," the system could determine that the person died before age 8; as a result, all ordinances would appear as not needed except for sealing to parents.
- If the ordinance status is still "Not Ready," please contact FamilySearch Support.
Permission required
If after you correct the death date, the ordinance status changes to Request (Permission Required), you must get permission from one of the closest living relatives to do the ordinances.

I would like this question referred to another department that can look for a missing membership record for Sharon Louise Scarborough that has not been made deceased. Her husband, Gordon, who died a few days before her in September 2021, has his ordinances showing in Family Tree.
This record GDSB-XMS for Sharon was created in November 2021 after her death and is not her membership record. We cannot see a deceased membership record for her.
We have included an obituary on her record for proof of death.
We understand the waiting for a year and a day, however, we are looking for her missing membership record that needs to be made deceased so that we can merge the records.
