Concerning names in South Africa, Johannesburg—Cemetery Records, 1840–2019
In this batch, M3LM-5W3, there are several instances of a stillborn or child death where it appears that the parents name or names was listed in the Name column .
The question is should the given name be typed as shown for these cases or should the given name entry be (Blank)??
A good example is Consecutive No 241 my entry 13. The given name is shown as Henry + Agnes.

271: Bunkill (surname ) and leave child's name blank.
291: Beer (surname), and leave child's name blank.
295: Beukes (surname), Johanna could be the single mother.
There is no entries for parents.
There was only one stillborn .
The researcher would draw his or her own conclusion.

Correct if the baby wasn't given a name then the entry for first name would be blank, if there is a name then index the name.

Sorry Mirevo,
I am not sure I understand your answer, the problem is that there is a name shown for the deceased child but it appears to be the parents name or in the case listed above names. Are you saying that we then blank the field.
Sorry I just want to be sure.

Type the name as it was shown. How do you know that these were parents names and not twin stillborn babies named Henry and Agnes? I would create two records for that entry as well as Elizabeth and Robert. There are other babies on this image who obviously were not named.

Please hold a minute while we confirm-line 291 for example it says: Beer, Elizabeth+Robert, looks like Beer is on the surnames position in this column.

You are not indexing the parents names on this collection. You must index the names. You have no idea if there was 1 stillborn or two as there are no genders. The record will only be easily found if you follow the example which shows to index the names in the name column. Then the researcher may also draw his or her own conclusion.
- If information about the death of twins or other multiple siblings is recorded on the same line, create a separate entry for each individual.
