Temple family cards
I find it very frustrating that we cannot keep family cards until the work is completed. My sister reserved names that she cannot do the work for so she sent them to me. She printed up the name cards. I began the work but the temple insisted on keeping the cards once the Iniatories were done. Now my sister needs to find the names again and print up cards for Endowments. Of courses the temple will keep those. So she will need to do the same thing for sealings. How very inefficient. PLEASE LET PATRONS KEEP FAMILY CARDS UNTIL ALL THE ORDINANCES ARE DONE! It will save so much time and effort.
Thank you, Anadeane

Well, at least, "Return", the "Card", upon "Special" request, PRIOR to EACH "Ordinance" being undertaken, for the subsequent "Ordinances", to be "Completed", if ALL the WORK, is being done, on the SAME Day, at the SAME "Temple".
I believe, that CAN happen, PROVIDED, that the RETURN, is requested, PRIOR, to EACH "Ordinance"; being, undertaken.
But ...
That Said ...
That is up to, (ie. the purview of) individual "Temples".

Here is a "Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch':
Do temples still return family name cards?
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/do-temples-still-return-family-name-cards
Where, it states, among, other things:
Quote
------------------
Can I perform more than 1 ordinance for an ancestor during the same visit?
Yes. To perform multiple ordinances for an ancestor during a single visit, select the ordinances you will complete, and print the name card. Once at the temple, notify temple workers of your intention and ask that they return the card to you for the next ordinance. They will collect the card at the conclusion of your visit.

I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.
