Hi

I would like to help my parents be sealed to my deceased Brother Tarik Mataitaua Naili KWB2-ZCG. I get an error message saying "This person's ordinance status is not available" when trying to print the sealing to parents card. Can someone help me please?

From looking at your brothers record I would expect your parents are living. If so it would be considered a living ordinance.

The information below can be found in the FamilySearch Help Center and explains the process.

    Sealings to deceased family members

Sealing a Deceased Child to You and Your Spouse

    • To seal a deceased child to living parents, see your bishop. When you are ready, call the temple to make an appointment for the sealing. Take the following items with you:
    • Your temple recommend.
    • A family name card for the deceased child for any additional temple ordinances that need to be performed, such as baptism and confirmation.
    • A family group record that shows the living and the deceased family members to be sealed. (This is not required but is helpful to temple staff.)
