I am trying to find my 4th great grandfather from Caltagirone Italy, In the Church of San Giuliano. My problem is looking for his marriage to Rosa Aquippina Zimone before 1762 but there is no film. Is there any other way of finding this date and record? He is in the record index of 1777-1789, he is in part 2 page 337 # 35, but there is no part 2 available. This may be his second marriage to Antonia Caruso. I found her name on a death record in 1803 of Antonio. Also I am having trouble locating his son Jacobi Vincenti's marriage to Agnesia Mantello because of the same problem. 1777-1789 has no part 2 he is in index page 223 #4. I am hoping you can help me find these records as I have been looking for a very long time to find these ancestors. Thank you so very much any help will be appreciated

Dear Ms. Kunzinger,

I've tried to look for the second part of the register "Matrimoni 1777-1789" here in Familysearch but as already told by you the register is not present.

Here in Familysearch Images there are many images to be searched also related to marriages in 1762 but not directly related to San Giuliano, but more in general to Caltagirone, so you have to spend time for reviewing them :)

Nevertheless due to the fact that you have the correct references for both marriages of Antonio and Jacobi, you can try to write directly to San Giuliano parish asking for a copy so below you can find its references:

Hi Rose,

I've rebuild the tree for Carolus Franciscus Vincenti with her spouse Antonetta and their children and all documents I've found in FamilySearch, merging a lot of of different people and source documents.

Now I have a more clear overview but now it's necessary to have some confirmations about the fact that your Antonio is really the son of Carolus Franciscus Vincenti shown in the afore-mentioned tree.

If I well understood your initial comments, Antonio had a first marriage to Rosa Aquippina Zimone before 1762 and a second marriage to Antonia Caruso, than Antonio had a son Jacobi Vincenti's marriage to Agnesia Mantello. Is that correct?

I do have another brick wall that no one seems to be able to help me with. My maternal 5th great grandfather was Silvestro Sapienza , born, I believe in 1713. This is where it gets crazy. His daughter, Gregoria’s marriage in 1790, says her mother is Alphia Titime/Fitime. Then her death in 1842 says her mother is Maria Messina. Also I found Silvestro married to an Alfia Archiocono and having 5 children in the Stata Anime of ACI San Antonio which Also listed gregoria and Venerando as their children. I would love to know more information about these ancestors. They may have come from Bongiardo Italy but the book doesn’t go back to the 1700s. Hope you can help me. I would be so very grateful.
