Can I get the 300 limit removed from my account?

While I am sure it was done with good intentions, from my perspective it has been a disaster. I cannot begin to describe the frustration this has caused and how poorly conceived this idea was. It clearly was not inspiration or well thought out. I understand for those who have family who have been in the church for generations, and there are hundreds of relatives, this might be a good idea to encourage more participation from family and relatives (maybe?). In my case (and true for probably most people actually doing family history), we are a small handful. And with this limit and I am not able reserve ordinances for direct ancestors. As a result, random 13th cousins or people with nor relation at all reserve them and don't give direct family a chance to perform the work and participate. Further, I have shared a couple hundred with the temple and the pace at which they are getting down is extremely slow. I would guess maybe 20 ordinances have been done in the last 2 years of those shared with the temple. On the other hand, our family has completed a couple hundred ordinances in the last 2 years. So, it's not like the work is somehow getting done faster by not letting us reserve and forcing to share with the temple. I don't get it. It is demotivating. You are denying me an opportunity to connect with my ancestors, serve them and ensure their work is completed. Surly this is not how this work was intended to be accomplished. Please change the policy. It was and is a bad idea and poorly thought out. Also, I would like the option of taking a reservation for my direct ancestors from people who have no relation.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]

    Just in passing ...

    You are not alone ...

MANY; Many; many, of us feel the same way ...

    Unfortunately ...

Some Users/Patrons, have spoiled it, for the many ...

By "Hoarding", literally, 'THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS', of individuals/persons, in their List of "Reservations"

Regarding, a LIMIT, on one's List of "Reservations" ...

Short Answer: 'NO' ... As, that LIMIT, applies ... to ONE and ALL ..

    Whereas ...

MANY of us, wished the LIMIT, to be INCREASED ... to at least, to x500 ... whereas, some have requested x1000

    Now ...

    That Said ...

Regarding, the ability to TAKING, a "Reservation", from ANOTHER User/Patron ...

    Short Answer: 'NO'

Question: HOW do You know, that the OTHER User/Patron, is NOT "Related", directly or otherwise?

[ Of course; UNLESS, you have communicated directly with them ... ]

Although, I totally understand, when it comes, to "Close", DIRECT, Ancestors ...

    Really ...

Question: WHAT does it matter ... WHO does the Work ... as long as the Work gets done?

    Again, you are not alone.

    Jus my thoughts.

I know, that this certainly does not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective.

    Brett
