How often are index Edits updated to be searchable?

Today I edited a Census Index (it was available to edit). How often are these indexes updated so that Search will locate those edits?

    There is usually a message, when you do an edit like that, to allow a few minutes for it to be searchable. It's not instant, but it is very quick.

    Yes that message is the reason for asking. The record shows the edits but they are not searchable ... just curious it had been a little while. So I tried deleting out the former edits and re-edited them - will have to see if that changes anything...

    still no result ... oh well, try tomorrow.
