Billion Graves

Hi, recently, the links from Family Search to Billion Graves have stopped working. To clarify, when viewing a Record and selecting the "View on billiongraves.com" link, my browser attempts to open the url and fails ("The site can't be reached."). Here is just one example: Record https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QGTS-K2WD, Link http://billiongraves.com/pages/record/person/25862279. Billion Graves does have a reference, but under a different url https://billiongraves.com/grave/Matilda-Miriam-Foster/25862279. Has something changed recently? (and can it be fixed?)

Thanks.

    I could not duplicate the problem on WIndows 11 Chrome 98 - it opens Matilda Foster billiongraves record.

    @brstill

    FYI

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

    I just tried, that URL, in 'FamilySearch': https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QGTS-K2WD , that you provided ...

    And, that opened to:

    image.png

    And, it DID NOT matter, which one of the two (s) "Links", that I accessed, BOTH the "Link(s)", took me to the Record, in "BillionGaves.com".

    That being ...

    image.png

    And, I tried in, BOTH,

    A 'FamilySearch' Account; as, a User/Patron; as, a Member of the Church; and,

    A 'FamilySearch' Account; as, a User/Patron; as, who is NOT a member of the Church.

    Plus ...

    In the "Browsers", of 'Google' "Chrome"; and, 'Mozilla' "FireFox", with the "Operating System", of "Windows 10"; where ALL; were, using the LATEST "Versions" of each.

    ie. WITHOUT any problems/Issues.

    There is NOTHING wrong ...

    NOTHING needs to be changed/fixed ...

    As an aside ...

    Question(s):

    Is (are) the "Browser(s)", that you are using supported by 'FamilySearch'.

    Are the "versions" of the, "Operating System"; and, "Browsers", that you use, "Up-to-Date"?

    [ ie. The LATEST; or, the PREVIOUS, "Versions" ... ]

    And ...

    An "Oldie"; but, STILL a "Goodie" ...

    [ It often works; but, sometimes, does not ... ]

    IF, you have NOT already; THEN, ...

    Try "Clearing", the "Cookies" and, the "Cache", of your "Browser(s)".

    [ Even, to the extent, of the "Browsing History" ... ]

    Good Luck.

    I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

    Brett

    I have the same problem as @brstill. I am unable to link to Billiongraves from FamilySearch for about the past 10 days. Previously, no problems, ever.

    Safari is my browser. Running MacOS Monterey. Switched to Firefox as a browser and had the same problem trying to link through FamilySearch.

    Grateful for any suggestions.

    @jsatt

    FYI

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

    Following my INITIAL 'Comment', in this post ...

    I have just EXPERIENCE, for the FIRST time, the problem/issue, that @brstill raised, on 16 February 2022 ...

    I principally use, the "Bowser" of 'Google' "Chrome", with the "Operating System" of "Windows 10".

    [ LATEST "Versions" of each ... ]

    And, yet, I checked the same, with the "Bowser" of 'Mozilla' "FireFox", with the same "Operating System" ...

    [ Again, LATEST "Versions" of each ... ]

    WITH the SAME result, that I got in my initial 'Comment' - ie. NO problem/issue.

    As such ...

    I would humbly suggest ...

    Try "Clearing", the "Cookies" and, the "Cache", of your "Browser(s)".

    [ Even, to the extent, of the "Browsing History" ... ]

    Good Luck.

    I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

    Brett

    ps: Obviously, there has been a "Change" in "BillionGraves.com" website.

    Not working for me, either. Using Windows 10 and latest version of Firefox I just get a blank screen.
