When children do not have two parents, i.e. illegitamate who do you seal them to?

I know it used to be said that you seal them to grandparents, but if you do this know with family search, how do you do this? Or is there something else that should be done?

Thanks.

The first link explains sealing a child to a parent when only one name is known. The second link explains sealing to grandparents. Hopefully they will provide the insight that you need.
