"Attach Historical Records to Family Tree" doesn't locate correct alternate spouse
When I attach historical records to Family Tree, often times, when multiple spouses are present, Familysearch will not locate the correct spouse to attach to; rather, it chooses a random spouse as suggestion. Maneuvering through the "Change, Select Person or Spouse" on the LEFT menu doesn't seem to help.
However, I found a workaround... namely, if one chooses "Change" on Select Person or Spouse from the RIGHT menu, and choose the correct spouse, Family tree gives totally crazy wrong suggestions across the board. BUT, when you choose the BACK arrow on the browser, voila', Family Search finds the correct relationships.
I've tried it now about a dozen times and it has always worked like a charm.

In Source Linker the left-side is the index from the record and the right-side is the people in the Family Tree. Depending on who the 'focus person' is selected for 'Attach to Tree' - that will determine how the right-side Tree is displayed. In other words - if you want a specific wife to appear - make sure you have selected that wife from the index of the record before choosing 'Attach to Tree'. Otherwise - yes you are correct - you would have to 'Change focus person' on the right-side to that wife - before the left-side record index would align. (sorry it would be much easier to see this but hopefully this is understandable)

I agree. I have needed to use the Change buttons on both the left and the right quite a few times to link everyone in the original record. It does display some weird results but these can be ignored, focusing only on the specific individual you are trying to link.
