Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
FYI
Here is a link, to the "Submission Agreement', in 'FamilySearch':
FamilySearch Content Submission Agreement (Updated 2018-09-01)
https://www.familysearch.org/legal/familysearch-content-submission-agreement
Where, it states, among other things:
Quote
------------------
3. Copyright. We are sensitive to the copyright and other intellectual property rights of others. Be aware that content, including photographs, stories, and personal experiences, even if submitted to a portion of this Site which is relevant to you, remains the property of the creator or submitter. You should not reproduce it without permission of the owner. Photographs of living individuals, except your own minor children, must not be posted without their consent. When creating an audio / voice recording, the personal content recorded should be your own, or if the creation of another (for example a poem or article), be used by permission of the owner.
------------------
I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

Brett did a wonderful job of providing just what you needed to review which is part of the Content Submission Agreement that is required for those who wish to use of the Memories portion of the FamilySearch site.
I believe the key information is your right to retain any memories you submit as your property. Of equal importance, however, is a reminder that if other living people are in the photos you wish to post, you must get permission from those who are in the photo.
In addition to that, please be aware that others will not see the photos you submit if you do not tag them and link them to an ID that others can see in Family Tree. While we share ID numbers for our deceased ancestors, all users have a personal group of ID numbers that they create for their living family members, and linking to those ID numbers will not guarantee that others will find the photos you want to share. You may want to go to the FamilySearch Help Center and search for articles about how to share the memories you upload.
Because this issue is actually about working with Memories, I will be moving this post to the Memories Category in the Community Help Center where others will similar questions or comments can review the discussion. Best wishes as you begin working with your Memories at FamilySearch.

Do study paragraph 4 in the document Brett provided:
4. Licenses and Rights Granted to Us. By submitting Contributed Content to this Site, you grant FamilySearch with an unrestricted, fully paid-up, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable, sublicensable, and perpetual license to use any and all Contributed Content that you submit or otherwise provide to this Site, for any and all purposes, in any and all manners, and in any and all forms of media that we, in our sole discretion, deem appropriate for the furtherance of our mission to promote family history and genealogical research.
You do not lose your copyright, but you do grant FamiySearch blanket use.
