Question on Relative designation
Norway probate cards Norge—Tinglysningskort, 1640–1903 [Del C][MMHT-KFK]
Instructions say to not type the name of a person unless a specific relationship to the principal person was indicated. I've come across one, where the husband of a female main person [hovedperson] is recorded and then underneath him, the name of a female who it indicates he was married to [maybe his first wife?]. There's no indication that this person was related to the hovedperson. Should she be left out or indexed as a relative using the generic slektning [relative] designator to connect her to the hovedperson's husband?

Thank you for your question @Barid King regarding Norge—Tinglysningskort, 1640–1903 [Del C][MMHT-KFK]. We were able to load your batch.
You are correct that the Field Help for Relationship to Principal, paragraph 3, says, "Do not type the name of a person unless a specific relationship to the principal person was indicated. Do not assume a relationship even if the person had the same last name as the principal person." Paragraph 5 says, "If the relationship of the individual to the principal person was not indicated, do not index the name."
Per these instructions, because there is no indication of a specific relationship between the principal and the female recorded underneath the husband's name, that female's name would not be indexed. A researcher, when led to the image, will see the name associated with the principal's husband.

- @Barid King, we are so sorry that we are not able to access your batch. Possibly another person reading your post will know the exact answer to your question. In looking at your quoted instructions of the project, it would be my opinion not to index this name as there is no indication that there is a relationship to the principal person. Instructions in other Norway probate cards state: Index all names listed on a probate card under the appropriate entry type (principal or relative). If you were not able to determine a relationship of that person by possibly the spelling of their name, then it would be left out unless the field has an "unknown". A reviewer coming behind may better know the answer. Thank you for your question.
