Wrong email address
I created a temple group. When I invited someone to join the group my email address is wrong. Note: I created the my group while sitting at a computer at the Riverton FamilySearch Library. The email address that was shown, as my email, was the email of the last person who was using the PC. The correct email address should be [email protected]

Thank you for posting your concern in the Community about the email address for your group. We are sorry this happened, because In FHC support we advise that every guest should sign out of the Patron account when they leave the computer.
A lot depends on if you are the administrator, or if the one whose email address is the administrator. If you are the administrator, Tech advised you to send the invitations by copying the link and your their own email program. The guests who were invited using the wrong email address may just disregard those prior messages. Have them accept the new invite.
If you are not the administrator, you may wish to just create new group, and remove yourself and others from the old one. If you are in the group and can see , then changes can be made, if not then don't worry and don't share ordinances.
Or maybe email the other person whose email is attached, and have them disband the group.
We wish you success in getting the correct email address connected to your family group.
You may wish to remove your email address from the above post.

FYI
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
[ And, I have been a Staff Member, of Family History Centres", of the Church, for many Years ... ]
Just in passing ...
Firstly ...
That is particularly contingent upon:
(1) Using a "Shared" Computer; and,
(2) A previous User/Patron, of that particular Computer, NOT, "Signing Out', of particular "Programmes".
... [ In this case, most likely, 'FamilySearch' ... ]
The SAME thing happens, if a previous User/Patron, of that particular Computer, has been using "Ancestry_com" (or, the like); and, has NOT "Signed Out".
This happens a LOT, at "Family History Centres", of the Church.
Where, another User/Patron, comes along, later; and, uses that particular Computer; and, they find, when they go to a particular "Programme", that the "Programme" is ALREADY "Logged In", against another User/Patron.
These days, at the END of a "Shift"; and, the BEGINNING of a "Shift", of our (Local) "Family History Centre", of the Church, I try to "Check", ALL the Computers, to make sure, that Users/Patrons, HAVE "Signed Out", of MANY of the "Programmes", that have been used - occasionally, I miss one or two; but, I catch most.
Secondly ...
That is ALSO contingent upon, how 'FamilySearch', has setup, the "Family Groups", to send out, "Invites".
The "System", uses a "HTML E-mail" capability; and, as such, the "Computer", is NOT using one's "E-mail' Address; as, recorded in 'FamilySearch' - therein lies the problem/issue.
I have advised, of such, in a number of previous posts, on problems/issues, with "Family Groups"; &, "Invites".
Now ...
That Said ...
The beauty, is that, you CAN, "Change", the "E-mail" Address", of the "Sender"; BEFORE, sending.
[ If one notices ... ]
The problem/issue, is that MANY Users/Patrons, will NOT (and, in fact, DO NOT), "Notice", that the Senders "E-mail" Address, is NOT theirs; and, go ahead and send.
Finally ...
As an aside ...
Just so that you are aware ...
The "Invites", that are sent out, through the "Family Group", take SOME time to be "Delivered".
[ ie. the delivery is NOT immediate ... ]
The "Invites", that are sent out, through the "Family Group", can take a NUMBER of Days, to appear in the "E-mail" Client/Service, of the receiver/recipient, User/Patron.
Sometimes, the "Invites", that are sent out, through the "Family Group", work fine.
Whereas ...
Other times, the "Invites", that are sent out, through the "Family Group", DO NOT, work so well.
eg.
(1) NOT "Delivered" at all - despite the Recipient's (and, that of the Sender) "E-mail" Address being CORRECT.
(2) The "Link" in the "E-mail", to the "Family Group", NOT appearing in the "Body" of the actual "E-mail".
I certainly have NOT, worked out, what is going WRONG, just that there are, definite problems/issues.
As such ...
I have NOW reverted, to sending out "Invites", to a "Family Group", through a "E-mail" Client/Service; as, a dedicate "E-mail", with the "Link" to the "Family Group" embedded in the "E-mail", rather than through, the "Invite" Process, of "Family Groups", in 'FamilySearch', just to ensure that there are NO problems/issues.
Just my thoughts.
Good Luck.
I know, that this may help/assist; and, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective; and, another avenue to pursue.
Brett
