Sealing My Father to His Mother and Stepfather

My grandfather abandoned my grandmother before my father was born. She re-married when my father was 7 years old. Near the end of her life, she joined the Church and was sealed to her then-deceased second husband and requested that she not be sealed to her first husband. Now that my father (who was not a member of the Church) is deceased, how do I seal him to his mother and stepfather?

To seal your father to his mother and his step-father, add your father as a child to their couple relationship in Family Tree. You can add your father as a child quite easily by using his ID #.

Once your father shows as a child to his mother and stepfather, go to your father's ordinance tab and you will be able to request Sealing to Parents.

If you have problems with any of these steps, please advise and we'll provide more help.

    Best wishes.
