Missing ordinances

All ordinances are missing for my fourth great grandfather, Jens Olsen, GHY3-7PF, born 1751 in Idd, Ostfold, Norway. I am confident that these ordinances were done inasmuch as the ordinances for his wife Ragnild Tostensdatter, L712-36N, have been completed (except for sealing to spouse). All 9 children have had their ordinances completed, including the sealing to these parents, Jens and Ragnild (unless no spouse was listed for them).

I have reserved the ordinances for Jens to prevent someone else from duplicating the ordinances.

Let me know if I need to redo Jens ordinances and seal him to his spouse.

If you go to the Change Log for Ragnild and look at the very first entry, you will see that she and the children were originally connected to Jens LHT3-Y11

Going to Jens LHT3-Y11 at https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LHT3-Y11 you can see that he was deleted by being merged into Jens Olsen L6F2-VL8:

Looking at Jens Olsen L6F2-VL8 at https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/L6F2-VL8 that merge appears to be fine because his birth and christening information are identical. However, this second Jens was also deleted by being merged into third Jens Olsen MS7P-NLZ

This third Jens Olsen MS7P-NLZ, as seen at https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/MS7P-NLZ that he was born 9 January 1807 in Fredrikshald which is completely different than your Jens. Also, he was married to a woman from Denmark and all his children were born in Denmark, as supported by census records added as sources. Clearly this second merge should never have been done.

In order to reclaim your Jens Olsen and all his ordinances, the first thing you need to do is restore Jens Olsen L6F2-VL8. Do this by going to his page and clicking Restore Person:

Now carefully go thorough all the information on him and make sure it is all just for your Jens Olsen. I didn't do this thoroughly, but with a quick glance, I think it will be. You will probably need to detach him from spurious parents, wife and children connected to him through the incorrect merge

Then merge Jens Olsen L6F2-VL8 with your Jens Olsen GHY3-7PF that you created about a year ago and your family should be back as they should be, including showing all of Jens' original ordinances.

I can't thank you enough for helping me restore our Jens Olsen's original ordinances. With all the incorrect merges you uncovered, I can see the trail that created this discrepancy. Your expertise is appreciated. I've gone through the spouse and all nine children and have confirmed all connections are legitimate.
