I have just started indexing baptismal records today and note there is no space to enter abode or occupation. Should i just continue or is there somewhere this can be added?

Familysearch and the record custodian/owner determine what fields are indexed in a batch for each Type of record. If you click the 3-dot menu (blue bar) you can see the option to 'show or hide fields' - there is not any option to 'add fields'.

If there were the option - some indexers might include other fields while other indexers would not...

It is important to remember we are not transcribing information but are indexing the records so the researchers can find the document to use in their research. Also as genthusiast has answered we index according to the guidelines the owners of the records have contracted with us.

Ok thanks for replies. I guess as no add button they are not included. As a researcher i would want to know that information to help confirm families so just surprised not included.
