My friend Ellen Ruth Jackson LJ4S-C8X passed away last year and her ordinances say they are unavailable. I tried to contact her daughter, but haven't received an answer from her.

Your friend Ellen Ruth Jackson LJ4S-C8X , is still showing living on her membership record. There is a Find a Grave source on her record in Family Tree. We will send this information to the department that will add the death to her membership.
