11 year old deacon needing to print temple cards

My son is a new 11 year old deacon. We have a church account for him and we also have a FamilySearch account that has his MRN attached and associated. but, for some reason we are unable to search for names that he can take to the temple for baptisms. Whenever we use the Temple menu and choose "Ordinances Ready" and press the button for "Baptisms and Confirmations" we get the following error

Unable to Retrieve Ordinances

Sorry, an error occurred while retrieving the ordinances that you requested. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Is it truly a system error (if so it's been happening for 4 days now) or is there some restriction for youth this young? Or something else? Any ideas?

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]

    Just in passing ...

    Firstly ...

Make sure that everyone else, that may have been, "Logged Into", their own 'FamilySearch' Account, on that particular Computer, IS ("Fully) "Logged Out", of 'FamilySearch'.

    Secondly ...

IF, you have not already; THEN ...

An "Oldie"; but, often, STILL a "Goodie" ...

[ That, more often than not, seems to work ... ]

Try "Clearing" the, "Cookies"; and, "Cache", of your "Browser" (and, may be even, the "Browsing History") ...

Here are some "Knowledge Articles", in 'FamilySearch":

How do I delete cookies from FamilySearch?

How do I set my cookie preferences?

    Good Luck.

I hope, that this may work ( and, help/assist, somewhat).

Gender for your son is set to "Unknown." Ordinance Ready will generate an error message if gender setting is set to "Unknown."

    @M Haws

    FYI

    It's 'Brett'.

    Just in passing ...

    I am somewhat confused ...

Provided, that you are referring to, the "Settings", in one's 'FamilySearch' Account ...

Question: HOW, does one's "Gender", in one's "Settings", in one's 'FamilySearch' Account, get "Set" to "Unknown"?

As, I just "Checked", in MY "Settings", in MY 'FamilySearch', to be certain; and, there are ONLY, two (x2) Status', for "Gender", they being, either, "Male"; or, "Female" - there is NOT, a status, of "Unknown".

    OR ...

Are you referring to, the ACTUAL Status of one's "Gender", against oneself, in one's ACTUAL Record/Profile, in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch?

IF, that is the case; THEN, that is understandable ...

    Please advise.

    As an aside ...

    And ...

I might say, a very good 'pick-up', if such is the case ...

I must complement, you; and, those, at 'FamilySearch', for identifying such ...

This may have been, the problem/issue, for some previous posts, on such matter.

This is WHY, it is so "Very" GOOD, to SHARE, any such INFORMATION, that is NOT, of a "Private" nature, rather than just sending a ("Private") 'Messages', to an individual User/Patron (ie. Participant) concerned; as, the SAME problem/issue, MAY be quite relevant, to, MANY; Many; many, of us Users/Patrons.

    Just my thoughts.

    Brett
