Funeral and Burial records
I have been indexing some funeral and Burial records in County Down Ireland and they, at times have the address or townland where they are from. There is not any place to index this address. I was wondering if someone else comes along and indexes this after me or would it just be lose. If there is a way to add this resource, could you tell me how to add one?
Thank you Marie Answer

Project Instructions for Ireland, Down—Church Records, 1740–1913 [Part A]: Example 1 for Indexing a Death Record incorrectly indexes place as Surname.
No, I don't see that there is a Death Place Field and I don't believe pre-publication will come behind and enter those either. So the rule that that index just helps find the record and the researcher can then note any details is the response given for this type of question. I agree though - if a place is included in a record it would be nice to index (it would help researchers).

That is not likely from what I understand. Agreements don't change much and less likely would be the renegotiation of fields to index - that's what I perceive anyway.

Thank you for your reply. Is it possible to add a position after the names of the deceased as in the Baptism certificates? if so I would be happy to record anything I find, Just tell me how too.

No the Fields are preset based upon the agreement with the record custodian/owner. There is not any method to add fields.

Thank you. Could it be put to the custodian / Owner for this addition?
