I think your find that John Greenberry Wade is noted as being the son of Richard Wade and Grisselle Dabney from Goochland, Virginia but their John married a Mary Williams and died in Henrico, Virginia.

You note him as a parent in the above link and being married to Susanna Bowels.

John Wade (1740–1819) • FamilySearch

Here you note him again.

Millions of people have this genealogy, but I can't find any record of Richard Wade having two sons named John.

It's important that these historic sites should be checked for correctness
