Hi! In indexing, I have a mix of divorce and marriage records in the batch. The dropdown menu only gives me the options of birth, marriage, and death. What do I choose for divorce? Should I say the image shouldn't be indexed?

Hi Christineka. If you would look at the top of the batch you're working on you will find a batch number, it will be a mix of letters and numbers [xxxx-xxx]. please copy this number and send it to us here in the forum. We will be able to see what you're working on and hopefully help you solve your dilemma.

Thank you for indexing and giving your time.

Thank you Christineka. According to the Project Instructions: Mark all other records, including baptism, marriage consent forms, divorce, Indian passes, discharges, affidavits, claims, change of name documents, burial records, and handwritten or typed notes and memos, in Step 1: Images as No, No Extractable Data.

Only index the marriage registers in that batch. So after doing Step 1 you should be able to choose marriage from the drop-down menu and index the marriages.

Glad you're here to help with these records.

Click on image one and when you get the form go to the top of your page click on the trashcan icon click on delete current entries it should delete them for you and if not then go through and delete the entries for image one, one at a time. It will ask you if you want to change it to no, no extractable data. Click yes.
