because of the 300 reservation limit

I used to go to the temple 3 times a week. Once the temples were closed I would give all the ordinances to the temple for safe keeping. Once we were able to make appointments at the temple I would unshare the ordinances I wanted to take to the temple......but it won't let me do that anymore. So I figure I should be able to get some ordinances via "Ordinances Ready." But, alas, no. So I now have over 20,000 ordinances that I cannot personally do anything with.

I understand the desire to share, but this new rule is going to make it much longer for these reservations to be completed.

Do you have any suggestions?

In order to pull ordinances back from your temple-shared list to do them personally, your personal reservation list has to be less than three hundred. What you need to do is to take a look at your reservation list and move a good number of them to your temple-shared list in order to get well under that 300 limit. Then pull the ones you want to do off of your temple shared list onto your personal list, print out cards and complete them.

Take a look at your Temple page.

In other words, get the top (###) well below 300 by moving reservations you are not currently working on to Shared with Temple. The bottom (###) has no limit. Then you will be able to move reservations from Shared with Temple to My Reservations just like you could before.

Do people NOT understand, the MAJOR Problem/Issue, that MANY Users/Patrons, are NOW having ...

IF, one, has a List of "Reservations", that (NOW, suddenly) EXCEEDS, the "Newly" applied/enforced, LIMIT of x300; THEN, one MUST "Reduce", one's List to "Well" UNDER that figure of x300.

And ...

The REAL Problem/Issue is, that one CANNOT quickly (ie. IMMEDIATELY); and, AUTOMATICALLY, "Share with the Temple System", that individual Work, that one has JUST "Unreserve" (ie. "Released).

One MUST, somehow, keep an actual "Note"/"Record", of EACH individual "Case"; so that, one can, HOPEFULLY, return to EACH individual "Case", and, "Share with the Temple System"; ONCE, one has EVENTUALLY, "Reduced", one's List of "Reservations", to LESS than the LIMIT of x300.

This is actually a MONUMENTAL task, in itself, if one's List, in "Well" OVER the LIMIT of x300.

This is an IMPOST, that should NOT, have been IMPOSED upon, those User/Patrons, who have been ACTIVELY working, on their List of "Reservations".

[ There SHOULD, have been, a WARNING, that such was coming - ie a REASONABLE, Period of GRACE ... ]

And, I am NOT referencing, those Users/Patrons, who are ACTUALLY "Hoarding", huge, excessively MASSIVE, Lists; and, NOT actively, working on their List; as, that is another matter, that could have been handled, in ANOTHER way.

So ...

That Said ...

The Users/Patrons, should NOT, have to, summarily "Reduce", their List of "Reservations", to UNDER the "New" LIMIT of x300, to "Share with the Temple System".

Users/Patrons, SHOULD, be (ie. have been) able, to DIRECTLY "Share with the Temple System", FROM their List of "Reservations".

That, is the REAL Problem/Issue, that SHOULD have been, addressed; and, implemented; BEFORE, the LIMIT of x300, was applied/enforced, upon our List of "Reservations".

I am not trying to be argumentative, with you personally ...

I humbly suggesting, that there was INSUFFICENT consideration given, to (at least, some of) the RAMIFICATIONS (and, COLLATERAL affects) of, applying/enforcing, the LIMIT of x300, upon our List of "Reservations".

The fact, of NO ability, of being able, to DIRECTLY "Share with the Temple System", FROM one's List of "Reservations"; being, ONE of those RAMIFICATIONS (and, COLLATERAL affects), that DOES NOT, 'seem' to have been considered; nor, factored in.

[ Hopefully, that is be considered; and, rectified (ie. to be implemented, ASAP ... ]

Of course, the timing, of the imposition/enforcement, of the "New" LIMIT of x300, to our List of "Reservations", was "Very" ILL TIMED; especially, during this Worldwide current "COVID-19" Pandemic; as, MANY; Many; many, Users/Patrons have amassed Lists, that easily EXCEED, the x300 Limit, that they would NOT have NORMALLY done.

As an aside ...

MANY of us, "Reserve", the "Temple" Work, WHILE we are working on, an individual/person (or, Family group); so that, ANOTHER User/Patron, DOES NOT 'summarily' come along (WITHOUT even 'looking'; nor, doing any Research/'ground work'), with the aide, of likes of "OrdinncesReady"; and, 'snavelling' up, the "Temple" Work; when (ie. BEFORE), in fact, the individual/person (or, Family group), is NOT "Ready" for such. Meaning, in SOME instances, the "Temple" Work NEEDS to be "Cancelled"; and, redone again - this has happened to me on a number occasions, in the past; and, furthermore, "Notes" EVERYWHERE, make NO difference; hence, WHY, I "Reserved" the "Temple" Work, while the individuals/persons (or, Family groups), are a 'Work in Progress'; and, I "Released" such "Reservation", when the BULK, of the work was complete, sufficient to DO the "Temple" Work.

Again, sorry ...
