ordinance status not available
I would like to complete the ordinance work for Nancy Lindsay (G734-RMT), the wife of my 1st cousin 4x removed, Richard Whipp (LWCZ-SJX).
I have reserved all of her ordinances except for sealing to parents. I have discovered that her parents were John and Agness Lindsay of Burton, Westmorland, England, from census records and from her christening record.
I found her as a child with both parents with PID (MKD8-F5D), but there is an "ordinance status not available" error message for all of her ordinances on her ordinance page.
When I tried to merge the two records, the work I have done was changed to show the same error message, so I unmerged the two records.
What is the problem?
Why can't I complete her work and have her sealed to her parents?
She also has a brother and his family whom I would like to add to FamilySearch Family Tree, but I am not sure if I should just go ahead and create new (duplicate) records for her parents on the version of her that shows her marriage to my 1st cousin 4x removed. I could then add her brother and his family as well, though because I am not directly related to him, I would not reserve those ordinances.
Please let me know what I should do?

When you merge two records, one of which has Not Available ordinances become Not Available. We checked with a supervisor. Nancy Lindsay 1823-Dead • MKD8-F5D has been fixed. Please merge the duplicate records.
Have a wonderful day.
