A relative recently passed away. He was a member of the Church, but has not been active for many years. I don't think his ward clerk even knows he died. How do we get his ordinance dates updated on his FamilySearch profile? I believe the ward clerk needs to report his death and then his data will migrate to FamilyTree. I've created a file for him and put his death date in, but can't enter his ordinances. I know I'll need to merge this record with his "official" one when it is entered by FamilySearech. I don't want someone to try to have him baptized vicariously. How can we get his FamilySearch information updated? Do I need to try to find out who is ward clerk is?
