Enhance Family Fan
I like the new Family Fan, but many of my Welsh ancestors show as up as born in UK, because their official birth place ends with UK. As and improvement suggestion could the new Family Fan system overlook the UK ending on births and just show Wales or England etc? Regards

'Yes', many of us suffer from that, with our, English, Welsh, Scottish; and, Irish, ancestry ...

And, I know, it is time consuming ...
But ...
That Said ...
As, a 'Workaround', it is a simple matter, of going to each of one's Ancestors concerned; and, "Re-Standardising", the "Place Name(s)", to a "Standard", WITHOUT that 'Suffix', of "United Kingdom" (UK).
So that, they END, is just, England; or, Wales; or, Scotland; or, Northern Ireland, WITHOUT that 'Suffix', of UK.
I have done such, to MANY (but, still, a lot to go); and, it certainly makes a difference, in the "Fan Chart" View.
